Demonstration is held for more affordable mass transit for young people.

Some 30 members of the Youth Affordability Coalition demonstrate outside the Massachusetts Secretary of Transportation’s office at Park Square. The protesters are calling for issuance of a $10-a-month MBTA youth pass for young people ages 12 to 21. Twenty-one of the demonstrators are arrested.
